Two years ago(spring 2018), I passed by a neighborhood on the upper east side and I saw a few store closings, I wondered what had happened. In the first part of the video, I approach the restaurant as you will see, it got bought out by investors, as I assume the rest of that particular small area of 89th street and Madison ave in New York City. If I’m correct a total of four store fronts closed before spring 2018.
Fast forward to Fall 2020, you will see a mixed used commercial building in it’s place, man, how the landscaped changed. Is construction progress a good thing? with the pandemic of 2020 many of you have heard of droves of people moving out of New York City, in particular, Manhattan, we hope that the city will return to it’s glory very soon.
The last thing we want is to see more half empty buildings.
